A Distributor must personally or foster sponsor three or more Distributor Groups, each of which qualifies at the 21% Performance Bonus Level during the same month, whether he has qualified as Platinum Distributor or not.
Each month, Amway pays a qualified recipient a Pearl Bonus equal to 1% of the BV generated by all second level groups, down to and including the first qualified Pearl Bonus recipient plus the personally or foster sponsored first level groups of that (downline) Pearl Bonus recipient
BV generated by first level 21% groups does not count toward the Pearl Bonus since the 6% Leadership Bonus is paid on this volume. The volume is used to calculate the bonus of your upline Pearl Bonus recipient.
Each qualified Pearl Bonus recipient must guarantee to his sponsoring Pearl Bonus recipient a minimum of 1% of 10,000 points times the BV/ PV ratio (or 1/ 6 of the 6% minimum guarantee) on each of his personally or foster sponsored 21% groups. The minimum guarantee changes if and when the BV values of products change.
Whenever a qualified Pearl Bonus recipient's personally or foster sponsored first level group(s) does not generate sufficient volume to fulfill the minimum guarantee to the upline Pearl, Amway will adjust the amount of Pearl Bonus to make up the difference.
* The Minimum Pearl Bonus will be revised if the PV/BV ratio changes

Your Pearl Bonus is based on the total BV of D,E,F,G
= $160,000BV (10,000PV) x 4 = $640,000
Your Pearl Bonus is = $640,000 BV (40,000PV) X 1% = $6,400
D is also a qualified Pearl Bonus recipient However he cannot receive the Pearl Bonus because he does not have Second Level 21% Groups. He can only receive the 6% Leadership Bonus generated by E, F and G. D's Pearl Bonus is $0.
Your Pearl Bonus is based on the total BV of D,E,F,G,H,I,J
= D $80,000 + E $16,000 + F $112,000 + G $160,000 + H $160,000 + I $160,000 + J $160,000 = $848,000
Your Pearl Bonus is $848,000 X 1% = $8,480
G is also a Pearl Bonus recipient
G’s Pearl Bonus is based on BV of K = K $160,000BV (10,000PV)
G’s Pearl Bonus is = K $160,000BV (10,000PV) X 1% = $1,600
Your Pearl Bonus is based on the total BV of D, E, F
= D $160,000 BV (10,000PV) + E $160,000 BV (10,000PV) + F $160,000 BV (10,000PV) = $480,000
Your Pearl Bonus is $480,000 X 1% = $4,800
B is also a Pearl Bonus recipient
B’s Pearl bonus is based on the total BV of G,H,I
